Anglican Communion Church:

Resurrection is a family of God in the process of leaving the Episcopal Church, the denomination of which it has been a part for 50 years. All of our members are leaving, and we are establishing a new Anglican church, and will be moving to new facilities. Details on this process can be found by clicking on NEWS: up above.

The order of worship that we follow is based on the worship of the very earliest Christian churches, in the first, second and third century. If you were raised as a Roman Catholic, you will recognize parts of our service, but probably think its teachings are very "Protestant." If you were raised a Protestant, you probably will think our services seem a bit like Roman Catholic services.

This is not an attempt to "blend" the two. Rather, the reason for this is that our worship style dates back long before the split of the western church into Protestants and Catholics in 1517, or the Western church from the Eastern Orthodox churches in 1054. Both our theology and our worship look to the very early Christian church for their substance and form. If you allow yourself to enter into and experience this worship deeply, we believe you will find it quite rich and satisfying.

Like most Anglican churches worldwide, our teaching at Resurrection is thoroughly evangelical. We honor the good news of Jesus Christ and teach it without shame.
