The Details -
Roots is an ongoing series of 4 week classes, with breaks in between
(e.g. 4 weeks on, 3 weeks off), and will cover many topics over the course of
the next year: the Bible, Jesus, prayer, evangelism, discipleship, love, worship, the
sacraments, the Trinity, family living, finances, church history, theology, and
more.
Classes will be taught by Pastor George Koch and
others with expertise or experience on the topics covered. The teaching will
include interactive presentation, discussion, video, handouts, outside
assignments – perhaps even some field trips – all intended to help all of our
members grow deep roots in the faith.
Membership or Confirmation
- Those preparing for membership in Resurrection, or confirmation, will need to
attend at least three segments (of 4 weeks each). Classes will be about 90
minutes, with a break and light hospitality.
